Vejl pris kr. 675 WEB pris kr. 594,-

R. Parker Jr. 95/100 pp. Bussola’s 2003 Recioto della Valpolicella Classico TB is textbook high-class Recioto. This opulent, silky-textured wine possesses gorgeous aromatics and layers of raisin, mineral, licorice, chocolate, spice and dark cherry flavors that flow onto the palate with dazzling style, superb persistence and a long, finessed finish. It is not to be missed. For his Recioto, Bussola gave the fruit six months of air drying to intensify sugars. The wine spent 32 months in new French oak prior to being bottled. Bussola says the wine will be even better after it has had some additional time to settle down, given that it was only bottled recently. If that is the case, the wine may very well merit a higher score in the future.
Tommaso Bussola’s wines have received a good deal of critical acclaim over the last few years, and with good reason. These are remarkable wines of the highest level. The estate produces two lines of wines. In theory the BG wines are more traditional in spirit while the TB wines are meant to be more modern. In reality the main difference comes down to vineyard selection, as the estate’s best fruit is reserved for the TB range.
